Built on the Belief That Your Daily Drink Deserves Better

Lutz Café & Bar was founded on a simple conviction: that the drinks you choose every day should elevate your routine, not just satisfy it. Located on Van Dyke Road, we've created a space where the precision of specialty coffee culture meets the warmth of a neighborhood gathering place.

Our team sources single-origin beans from the world's most respected growing regions and pairs them with locally inspired cocktail programs that change with the seasons. Whether you stop by at 7 AM for your morning ritual or at 7 PM to unwind, every visit is designed to feel like a decision well made.

Two Programs, One Standard: Nothing Less Than Exceptional

Our menu is divided into two distinct experiences — both share the same commitment to quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and an atmosphere that makes every visit count.

Classic Espresso

Rich, full-bodied shot pulled from our house blend. The foundation of everything we serve.

Cappuccino

Equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and velvety microfoam. Finished with a dusting of cacao.

Flat White

Double ristretto with silky steamed milk. Stronger than a latte, smoother than a cortado.

Pour Over

Single-origin bean, hand-poured. Rotating selection from our partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala.

Cold Brew

Steeped 18 hours for a smooth, low-acid profile. Available on draft or bottled, served over hand-cut ice.

Ceremonial Matcha

Stone-ground Japanese matcha whisked to order. Served traditional or as a latte with your choice of milk.

The Lutz Old Fashioned

Bourbon, house-made demerara syrup, Angostura bitters, expressed orange peel. Our signature take on a timeless classic.

Gin & Tonic — Elevated

Premium London dry gin, house-infused botanical tonic, seasonal garnish. Rotating selections keep it fresh.

Smoked Rosemary Margarita

Blanco tequila, fresh lime, agave, smoked rosemary syrup. Served with a torch-kissed rosemary sprig.

Elderflower Spritz

Aperol, prosecco, St-Germain, soda. Light, effervescent, and endlessly sessionable on a warm evening.

Passion Fruit Daiquiri

White rum, fresh passion fruit purée, lime, egg white. Shaken hard, strained into a chilled coupe.

Garden Mule (Non-Alcoholic)

Cucumber, mint, ginger beer, lime. Refreshing, complex, and just as thoughtfully crafted as anything on the bar.
